Director of the European Academy of Diplomacy of the Republic of Poland Ms Katarzyna Pisarska, visited the Strategic Research Center (SRC) on February 3. Ms. Pisarska discussed the activity of the European Academy of Diplomacy. She noted that one of the main goals of her visit is to implement relations with the "brain centre" of Azerbaijan and to discuss the prospects of the cooperation, according to SIA.
Ms. Pisarska said Azerbaijan as an integral part of Europe for Warsaw. Development of relations with the South Caucasus region, especially with Azerbaijan within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program will be a priority for Poland during its presidency in the European Union in July, 2011. The guest became familiarized with the SRC activity and she was informed about Azerbaijan’s position on the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Regional and international problems also were discussed at the meeting.
