Milli Mejlis, the Azerbaijani parliament approved the draft law on amendments and annexes to the Electoral Code in its meeting.According to SIA, chairman of the parliamentary committee for legal policy and state-building Ali Huseynli informed about the amendments and annexes.
Ali Huseynov noted thet amendments had technical character and the Code had been made in accordance with the Constitution. "While holding the elections is impossible due to the military operations, the Central Election Commission appeals the Constitutional Court according to Part 1 of Article 84 and Part 5 of Article 101 of the Constitution" has been added to the Electoral Code.
