Ali Ahmedov: "Report announced by OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights is biased and preconceived"
"Azerbaijan has chosen the way of democracy and will continue it assiduously. Democracy serves as a resource for Azerbaijani development. We have selected the way of democracy not for being pleasant to OSCE and to any other organizations, OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights also," vice- chairman, executive secretary of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP), MP Ali Ahmedov told SIA.
"Azerbaijani people always have opportunity to express political firmness during the President Elections, Parliament elections or local elections. People expressed political firmness and voted for them who were worthy to be represented in Milli Meclis. These elected persons represent Azerbaijani people in Milli Meclis. Report announced by OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights concern with the parliament elections hold on November 7 in Azerbaijan, is biased and preconceived,"emphasized Ali Ahmedov.
"More than 1000 foreign observers watched the course of elections held on November 7 parliament elections. Most of them underlined that elections had been held in the objective atmosphere. We treat equally to all observers and wish to be objective all the observers who assisted at the elections held on November 7.Unfortunately, report on November 7 parliament elections prepared by OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights doesn’t show respect to the political firmness of Azerbaijani people" noted vice-chairman.
