Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Standing Committee continued discussions of the prepared report on parliamentary elections held in November 7, 2010 in Azerbaijan.
Head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov: "PACE, OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the European Parliament adopted a joint statement regarding the election held on November 7. The signatory organizations noted to continue their cooperation with Azerbaijan for the sake of its future. This is a very important issue."
Seyidov noted that main direction, purpose and policy of the delegation is to present most painful issue of Azerbaijan - Nagorno Karabakh problem to the Council of Europe
