President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended today a ground-breaking ceremony for a new building of the State Oil Company (SOCAR).
The Head of State saw video, scheme, layout and model featuring the current state of the building. SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev told President Ilham Aliyev the new administrative building would meet international standards and all requirements of the company.
The 40-storey building will cover 5 hectares. The building will be built by the Turkish Tekfen Construction. President Ilham Aliyev placed a time capsule into the foundation and covered it with liquid concrete. The President congratulated the event participants.
