Azerbaijan is under pressure by Western countries because of the refusal to join sanctions towards Russia, the Speaker of the Milli Mejlis Ogtay Asadov stated, SIA report quoting RIA Novosti.
"The crux of pressure on us was a fact that, Azerbaijan is not involved in sanctions against Russia. We want to conduct our policy, to develop our ties. Our president wants to pursue an independent policy, but many don't like this. This is the essence of attacks against our country",Ogtay Asadov added.
