Defense Minister of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov has headed to Latvia after completing his two-day visit to Lithuania.
Mr Hasanov will be on an official visit to Latvia on July 3-4 at the invitation of Latvia's President-elect, current Defense Minister Raimonds Veyonis who will assume his powers on July 8.
The Azerbaijani minister will hold a series of meetings with Latvian officials to discuss prospects for bilateral military cooperation, and exchange views on security and defense issues.
