Civil Society Coalition: Support for the first European Games Baku-2015 has today held a round table meeting titled "Double standarts of the west: Democracy and human rights" in International Media Center.
SIA informs that MPs, representatives of NGOs and mass media representatives attended the meeting.
Chairman of the International Relations Research Center Rufiz Gonagov said that double standarts of the West increased on the eve of the First European Games Baku 2015: "It was expectable. Because this kind of "black campaigns" always led against Azerbaijan on the eve of such worthy and important events. It is a result of double standarts of the west. By joining together we will prevent "dirty campaign" led against our country".
"I suggest,the US and its authority has changed priority itself. Their proarmenian claims is an example of this fact. Actually, the United States has been losing its supporters. In consequence, it means that US is losing Azerbaijan. The US policy on democratic issues threatens the world." MP Zahid Oruj told in his speech.
At the meeting the head of Ses Media Group Behruz Guliyev, MPs Asim Mollazade, Fazil Mustafa, Musa Gasimli, President of APA Holding Vusala Mahirgizi and others stressed in their speeches that such kind of biased, grubby "campaign " against Azerbaijan on the eve of the First European Games is groundless, as well they condemned double standarts of the west against our country.
