"The World Economic Forum in Davos is a significant and noteworthy event. All economic elites assemble outside the forum," Political scientist Elman Nesirli told SIA commenting on a significance of The World Economic Forum for Azerbaijan.
According to him, the states attending this forum are interested in profit of their economy. The World Economic Forum is a unique chance for a demonstration of economic potentials of the states. Azerbaijan also benefits from this forum. The main goal is demonstrating of economic potential and a rapid development processes on different spheres in Azerbaijan. As well Azerbaijan is interested in to attract foreign investments.
Commenting on Armenia’s missing in the World economic Forum, Political Scientis stressed that Armenia does not have the parameters mentioned above. Armenia’s attendance in this forum does not mean any importance for the world economic elites. The forum defines economic rivalries of countries every year. Armenia is in the hundredth place in the list. Neither economical potensial nor political rejime of Armenia is interesting for world community.
