Armenian, which suffered heavy losses (up to 70 deaths and injuries) when their reconnaissance and sabotage groups’ attempts to launch assaults on positions of the Azerbaijani Army were prevented in July-August of this year, continues to conceal the casualties they suffered as they haven’t yet recovered from the crippling blow, says a statement issued by Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, SIA reports.
The statement, which comments on some Armenian media reports, says Armenian mass media outlets, as usual, continue to spread misinformation in Armenian society about the Azerbaijani Armed Forces through their NGOs and social networks.
"The military and political regime of criminal Yerevan, which had fallen into a panic because of the beginning of anti-government mass protests and internal conflicts in the Republic of Armenia, doesn’t give up the habit of disseminating provocative and exaggerated information about the losses of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and violation of ceasefire in order to distract the public opinion by underestimating its own losses. The Defense Ministry officially says that our units on the front line are ready to prevent and neutralize any subversive acts of the Armenian side. Our soldiers and officers, who are always ready to fight for the liberation of the occupied territories, avenge and will avenge tenfold for every martyr or wounded soldier under the order of the Defense Minister," the statement says.
