The 65th session of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Executive Committee will be convened through September 29 – October 3 in Geneva, Switzerland.
At the event, Azerbaijan is to be represented by Mr.Ali Hasanov, Vice-Premier, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs of Azerbaijan Republic, and the Head of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Firudin Nabiyev.
Azerbaijan has become a member of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Executive Committee as a result of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) voting on April 26, 2012. .
