SIA reports that Baku Office of UNICEF has commented on 15-year-old Azerbaijani resident, Javid Mammadov’s being taken hostage by the Armenian armed forces.
UNICEF is against any violence undergoing by children all over the world, Baku Office says.
It also was stressed that it is important to honor children's rights and international conventions in the aforementioned issue: "However, UNICEF hasn’t been involved in this matter. We hope that the International Committee of the Red Cross is dealing with Javid Mammadov’s issue and the efforts in this direction will produce results".
