The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan’s entire airspace is under full control of our Air Forces
The Defense Ministry of Republic of Azerbaijan has commented on the reports about the flights that Armenian military jets perform along the contact line over the Nagorno-Karabakh territory,
The Defense Ministry told SIAthat these reports in the Armenia’s mass media outlets are groundless and purposeful misinformation. Azerbaijan’s entire airspace is under full control of our Air Forces.
According to international laws and the decisions of the International Civil Aviation Organization, as all flights especially over the occupied territories were banned, unauthorized flights over these areas will be considered as violation of airspace boundaries of our country.
"Azerbaijan’s Air Forces have the most modern facilities to strike against those who violate our airspace boundaries. In such cases, the air forces that violate our airspace boundaries will be destroyed immediately by Azerbaijan’s military aviation and air defense systems" the Defense Ministry said.
