SIA reports that the State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing People has issued a statement about the Azerbaijani citizens detained by Armenia.
The State Commission is following the of investigating further fate of the Azerbaijani citizens reportedly taken hostage in Kalbajar region of the Azerbaijani Republic according to Armenian media outlets, as well as the vide and photo materials, the commission.
Since the first day the materials were released, the State Commission, within the limits of its powers, informed relevant international organizations and demanded the issue to be investigated within the framework of international humanitarian laws and carry out all the necessary procedures. The public will be given additional information.
