On June 16, Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens,SIA reports.
At the museum, Mehriban Aliyeva was accompanied by Georgia Samaras, thespouse of the Greek Premier Minister. One of the biggest museums of Athens, the Museum of Cycladic Art was created in 1986 on the basis of the collection of the Cycladic and Ancient Greek art belonging to Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris, one of the most influential families of Greece.
The Museum of Cycladic Art was created with a view to studying and promoting the Aegean Sea and old Cypriote culture. In general, over three thousand various exhibits are being presented at the museum.
Mehriban Aliyeva wrote her heartfelt words in the Museum’s Memory Book.
