"The fact that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is still unsolved is extremely worrying" the head of EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Malena Mard told this on May 31 commenting on the recent tensions on the line of contact between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, SIA reports.
"The fact that we still have a situation that the conflict is unsolved, in itself, is extremely worrying 20 years after. I think this puts the emphasis on need to really move forward with the solution of the conflict " said the head of EU Delegation to Azerbaijan.
Mard stressed, adding that such kind of conflicts leave both civilians and servicemen wounded and dead on the contact line.
"I know the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are working both with Azerbaijan and Armenia to hopefully move forward to the peaceful solution of the conflict," the EU delegation head said.
