"It has been for 20 years that OSCE Minsk Group’s Co- Chairs haven’t solved the problem. It’s uncertain that they can’t or they don’t want to solve the conflict indeed" Azerbaijani Deputy PM, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs, Ali Hasanov told journalists commenting on Co-Chairs’ 2 days visit to Nagorno Karabakh.
"Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev always says that, Minsk Group Co-chairs’ activity is without result" said Ali Hasanov. "It’s true and fact. Besides, there’s one issue that why Co-Chairs don’t meet Azerbaijani refugees?! It must be asked Co-Chairs" told Ali Hasanov.
"In 2001, The National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s presidency period, they wanted to meet refugees from Aghdam and I took them to Aghdam. Of course refugees asked hard questions. After that they haven’t met refugees so far" mentioned Ali Hasanov.
"Co-chairs always stress about mutual confidence. If it’s important for solution to a conflict, why they don’t meet refugees" stressed Ali Hasanov.
"I think, upcoming visit of Co-chairs' to Nagorno Karabakh will be fruitless as previous ones" said Ali Hasanov.
