Elmar Mammadyarov received Angola's Secretary of State for External Relations Manuel Domingos Augusto
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received a delegation headed by Angola's Secretary of State for External Relations Manuel Domingos Augusto SIA reports.
"Azerbaijan attached great importance to its relations with African countries, including Angola. There were fruitful opportunities for boosting cooperation between Azerbaijan and Angola in the fields of politics, economy, trade and energy"said Mammadyarov. The minister also stressed the two countries could collaborate in developing human resources in education and different vocational fields.
"Angola put a special emphasis on its relationship with Azerbaijan. He praised Azerbaijan's role in preparing Angolan specialists in the Soviet period. Angolan students were receiving education at ADA University" said Domingos Augusto.
They discussed the strengthening of a legal framework of the bilateral relations, and cooperation in international organization.
