U.S. co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick has called on the Swedish government to continue working together to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"Thank Sweden and personally Carl Bildt [Foreign Minister] for your active engagement on conflict resolution. Let's continue our work together in the South Caucasus," Warlick wrote in his Twitter microblog.
The co-chairmen of OSCE Minsk Group, which is the main platform for negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, arrived in Stockholm on Thursday, where they held a series of consultations with the Swedish Government.
According to Warlick, the diplomats of the Minsk Group also addressed a meeting of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Swedish Parliament on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
One of the members of Swedish "Moderate Party" Sofia Arkelsten twitted that the meetings with the co-chairs in Stockholm were interesting and informative.
