No country in the world has shown its solidarity with the Russia’s actions in the Crimea. And Russia can not but be aware that at this point they are all alone.
This view was expressed by Azerbaijani political scientist, MP Rasim Musabayov.
"Of course, such an action is unacceptable. However, when it comes to the great states possessing nuclear weapons and members of the Security Council, unfortunately, they do not always take into account the international law, believing that they have the exclusive right to interpret it the way they want them to", he said.
Moreover, the fall of the ruble and Russian stock indexes that was a reaction to events in Crimea, according to Musabayov, are an indication that the business and the population of the Russian Federation are also protesting against this policy.
