"A proverb says, "If you desire peace, be prepared for war". Azerbaijan’s economy today is in such a level that can allow the country to free its occupied lands by utilizing every means. President Ilham Aliyev’s policy relies upon this and the people [of Azerbaijan]. And a policy which relies upon people could never be defeated," Milikh Yevdayev, the leader of the Mountain Jews Religious Community, said in a gathering held in connection with the 22th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide at Caucasus Muslims Office today, SIA reported.
He said no one could undermine Azerbaijan’s will to free its lands occupied by Armenia: "We have always been together and still are. We won’t remain negligent about the blood unjustly shed in Khojaly. We want Karabakh as well as all other occupied Azerbaijani lands to be freed. No one has overcome us and can’t."
