"Discussions on different topics and in various panels were made at the World Economic Forum in Davos. These issues are currently being discussed and future perspectives are attempted to determine," chief of the department of International Relations of Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov told SIA commenting on the outcomes of the forum.
The Davos Economic Forum is the first-rate forum in the world, according to his words.
"The forum is absolutely vital in the international sphere. There isn’t any other forum to be compared to the Davos Economic Forum. You can’t mention the name of a head of state who has not attended the forum in particular times, for instance, once a year or two years. The forum is of a great importance to Azerbaijan as well. Because, Azerbaijan closely co-operates with the forum. In general, to take part in this forum means to be largely integrated into the ongoing economical, political processes in the world. Topics of the majority meetings were about it. Azerbaijan participates in all directions and fields of the forum. Therefore, the Davos Economic Forum is essential for our country and head of the state is annually invited to this forum. It should be also noted that not every head of state is annually sent an invitation by the leadership of the forum. But this invitation is sent to Azerbaijan every year.
