Iran supports a political solution based on the Syrian-Syrian agreement.
Pakayeen asserted that Iran is against any kind of foreign meddling in Syria, emphasizing that Tehran will stand beside the Syrian government and nation for preventing the violence and bloodshed: "Iran has always voiced its willingness to play a key role in peaceful settlement of regional crisis, the Syria in particular".
Pointing to the necessity of tackling terrorism in the region particularly in Syria, the Iranian envoy stressed that those countries that are arming terrorists should be held accountable for their acts.
