Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, chair of the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov has met US ambassador to the country and officials of the US Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM).
SIA, citing AzerTAc, reports that the Azerbaijani Deputy Premier highlighted the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its heavy consequences. He also spoke about the financial aids of the US non-governmental organizations to the Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs.
The US delegation praised the rapid economic development and social reforms implemented in Azerbaijan. They expressed their interest in participation in social projects of the Azerbaijani government.
They also discussed the ways for settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The US delegation was distributed booklets and a video CD on the terrible results of the conflict.
