600 thousand young people are expected to vote in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan this year. According to SIA, Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov has today said at a press conference dedicated to the activity of the Ministry in January- August.
He stressed that primary goal is to educate young people and to attract them to the constituencies: "Young people's voting is very important for us."
The minister added that the video clips encouraging young people to take part in the voting which will soon be shown on television, are being prepared now.
