A shepherd, who was Turkish citizen, inhabitant of Akyaka village of Kars province and shot and killed by border guards of Armenia, was Azerbaijani, SIA reports citing Turkish press.
The shepherd has been buried in Agyakha cemetery. After funeral rite, head of Executive Power of the Region Osman Ugurlu told reporters that the nationality of the shepherd Mustafa Ulker was Azerbaijani.
Note that a shepherd was shot by border guards after illegally crossing into Armenia to retrieve his sheep. Turkish FM made a statement criticizing the incident.
