- During the inauguration ceremony Serj Sarkisyan expressed his gratitude to OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs for their efforts to keep the status-quo in the region. Is OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ unsuccessful activity accepted by Sarkisyan as an attempt to justify his confidences?
- The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Relations Department Novruz Mammadov told Ses TV that this is Sarkisyan’s opinion to appreciate Minsk group co-chairs’ unsuccessful activity. But Sarkisyan is not a person with strong reputation that co-chairs shall direct their efforts to justify his confidences. Unfortunately, great crisis exists in the international relations system. This crisis appears as a result of such processes. Crises of international right, injustice exist more than economic and financial crises in the world. No one thinks about the admission of global right crisis while speaking about other ones. Because, crises of right and injustice generate economic and financial crises. From this view point, some authorities demonstrate their preconceived positions against Azerbaijan in different counties of the world, especially in the West. Those authorities may dictate their positions to various organizations. The co-chairs do not express the word of international right in the negotiation process on Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution. These are not simple processes. They are not carrying it out for the sake of Sarkisyan, but for other causes. Unfortunately, as a result of this injustice exists in the world. So, taking advantage of the situation Sarkisyan and his supporters stress that the co-chairs entrust them. But, this process, damaging Azerbaijan, will not continue for a long time. Impartial position should be demonstrated to solve our conflict. The lack of this position damages not only Azerbaijan, but also other countries.
- What can you say about Khojaly airport, the issue used to be addressed by Armenians actively? What is the reason of the issue to be addressed passively?
- The whole world is aware of the Armenian adventurist leaders’ methods. They are accustomed to address the world with the though they cannot stand by and to learn different countries’ reaction to that. They took some steps on Khojaly airport. They tried to see the result of this issue having made a scandal. That is, they clarified their Western friends’ approach and the reaction of Azerbaijan to this issue beforehand. Of course, the reaction of Azerbaijan was serious to this issue. The Armenian side being aware of that retreated. Let them know, if such situation is repeated, our position and attitude will remain unchanged.
