Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today attended opening of Tovuz-Govlar-Agbashlar highway after overhaul.
The President viewed the stands reflecting technical indicators, the previous and current state of the road, as well as construction and creative work in the region and the scheme of the Youth House, SIA reports citing official website of the President of Azerbaijan.
Aliyev was told that the overhaul of Tovuz-Govlar-Agbashlar highway with a length of 51 km was launched in October 2012.
The highway, which is important in the socio-economic life of the region, is also used by residents of neighboring Gadabay region. The new road plays an indispensable role in development of tourism and economy of the region as a whole.
The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the road.The President appreciated the work done.
