Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has today held a ceremony dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Azerbaijani police. SIA reports that the President of Azerbaijan Republic, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev attended the ceremony. Interior Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov reported to the Head of state at the Police Academy. President Ilham Aliyev laid flowers at the monument to Heydar Aliyev on the main square of the Academy.
Following this, the President cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center. The President was familiarized with the condition in the center and met with employees of the Interior Ministry. President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ilham Aliyev delivered a speech at the ceremony.
