International structures should increase the pressure on Armenia in order to prevent the resumption of the war in the region.
Turkish MP, chairman of the Turkish delegation at the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization's Parliamentary Assembly Ismayil Safi has told this to Gun.Az while commenting on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"The conflict must find an immediate solution. Otherwise, such situation can unfold in the region that later it would be difficult to prevent it.
The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan must be restored. The protraction of the conflict is not favourable to any side. Peace will open new opportunities to the region.
Armenian politicians should think of it most of all. This is because Armenia is in poverty and people are massively leaving the country. It his process continues, it does not promise anything good to Armenia," said the Turkish MP.
