A rally on the 21st anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy was held in Canadian capital Ottawa on 22 February.
According to the news service for the Azerbaijani embassy to Canada, the rally which was held from the Parliament of Canada to the embassy of Armenia to Canada involved our compatriots in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Waterloo, as well as Azerbaijani students of the universities of these cities.
Slogans against the crimes committed by Armenians in Khojaly on 25-26 February 1992 and occupation that continues since 1988 were chanted, memorial notes related to Khojaly genocide were distributed.
The rally participants demanded to put an end to the occupation policy of Armenia and called on the Canadian deputies to provide legal and political assessment of the Khojaly tragedy.
