"As the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is not settled, the occupying forces do not leave Azerbaijani lands and the territorial integrity is not resorted, Azerbaijani people are very sensitive towards any support to the expansionist regime," said chief of Socio-Political Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov commenting on Abdullah Gul’s congratulation of Serzh Sargsyan on his reelection as Armenian president, SIA reports quoting APA.
He said Azerbaijan completely protests contacts with Armenia, any support to expansionist regime on all levels – whether on the level of parliament, community, media or NGOs: "This is the demand of the Azerbaijani people, Turkish people. On the eve of the opening of the border the Azerbaijanis and Turks exerted pressure on their government and stated that the enhancement of this regime in the international arena is inadmissible unless to the occupying regime ends the occupation."
