The official visit of Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek to Azerbaijan has started.
"Azerbaijan is for us a fraternal country and in each of our visit, we see the development of the country," Cicek told reporters.
According to him, the Caucasian policy holds a firm lead in Turkish foreign policy.
"Turkey has always supported Azerbaijan and its fair position on the Karabakh issue. We demand an end to the occupation of Azerbaijani lands," he said.
He also said that Turkey stands for peace in the region and one of the conditions is the release of the occupied Azerbaijani territories and a just solution to the Karabakh conflict.
Cicek will attend a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, to be held on 27 November in Baku.
