At present, NATO is not considering deployment of any RLS in the area of the partner countries within its Missile Defense System, this was said from the NATO headquarters.
According to NATO experts, this program considering the protection from ballistic missile will cover the area of the NATO member states, APA reports.
It includes advance warning from air, command, control, monitoring, tracking and intelligence, as well as missile systems. These systems requiring a lot of finance will be deployed within the NATO borders.
Therefore, NATO considers it possible to cooperate and exchange information with the partner countries in the sphere of RLS.
At present, the Alliance members highly estimate Gabala RLS of Azerbaijan leased by Russia, but don’t consider this RLS as a component of NATO Missile Defense System
