Azerbaijan`s Consul General in Istanbul Hasan Zeynalov has met newly appointed Secretary General of the BSEC Victor Tvircun.
They discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the BSEC.
Mr. Tvircun hailed Azerbaijan's role in establishing and developing the BSEC as the organization. He also highlighted the country`s contributions to projects implemented.
Mr. Zeynalov, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Secretary General for giving high appreciation to Azerbaijan`s role on the activity of the BSEC.
He also said that the national leader`s policy in the development of cooperation with partner countries and international organizations the country is a member of, was successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
The Consul General briefed Victor Tvircun on successful reforms carried out in all spheres in Azerbaijan, as well as the consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mr. Tvircun noted that he plans to visit Azerbaijan to familiarize himself with the country's achievements.
The Consul General presented an Azerbaijani carpet to Victor Tvircun.
