On 14 August, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Minister of Economy of Turkey Zafer Caglayan. Stressing all round development of relations including economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the head of state noted the importance of energy, transportation and other projects President Aliyev expressed certainly that the visit of Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan to our country will be significant in terms of analyzing the work done and designing new projects.
Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan delivered greetings of President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Azerbaijani head of state. He noted the importance of advices given by the heads of state and government for further expansion of bilateral relations. President Aliyev thanked for the greetings of President Abdullah Gul and Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked the minister to convey his greetings to the Turkish president and prime minister.
