A strong earthquake measuring 7 points has occurred in Shaki-Zagatala region today morning at around 09:30.
The depth of the quake was 10 km, the Republican Seismological Service Centre of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told.
The tremors of the earthquake that occurred in 17km of the southwest of Zagatala region were felt in surrounding regions.
Currently, the mobile communication with Zagatala, Gakh, Balakan regions is limited.
There is no information about destruction scales or casualties.
