The statement came from chief of the department for work with law enforcement agencies of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fuad Alasgarov speaking at the Baku International Forum of Young Lawyers.
"Young people today have become a leading force in the legal sphere of the state. More than a half of employees of the judicial system of Azerbaijan are young lawyers. In a short period of time, the judicial corps of the country will rejuvenate dramatically", he said.
According to him, the number of young lawyers is growing in prosecution, legal profession, in a system of jurisprudence.
"Youth makes more than 50 percent of the prosecutors. More than 30 percent of the members of the Bar Association are young people", Alasgarov said.
The Presidential Administration official said that Azerbaijan continues to implement reforms in various fields, including legal and judicial.
"Reforms in the judicial system are aimed at bringing the legislation in this area to European standards. The role of youth in the implementation of these reforms is very important", Alasgarov said.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Minister Intigam Babayev, chairman of the Confederation of Lawyers of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli, president of the Association of European Law Students Niusha Nagemi.
