The European parliament resolution was yet another proof that this structure recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and condemns the occupational policy of Armenia.
The statement came from first vice speaker of Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov.
"This resolution means the objective attitude of the European Parliament to this issue", he said.
Asgarov also expressed his attitude to the recognition of the Khojaly genocide in the Columbian Senate.
He said earlier the Mexican parliament also expressed its attitude to the Khojaly tragedy.
"This shows that the countries of the American continent recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and show a very objective approach to this issue. I do believe that other states will also join them and recognize the Khojaly genocide", Asgarov said.
