Eurovision is simply a music contest and is a spiritual bridge among the nations, contributing in drawing them closer and forming understanding.
Azerbaijan as an organizing country provides and will provide security of all participants. In this respect, the claims of the Armenian representatives are not logical.
The statement came from Elnur Aslanov, the head of the political analysis and information department of the Presidential Administration.
According to Aslanov, with this Armenia once again demonstrates its non-constructive position, and avoids all events calling to peace and dialogue just like it avoids peace talks.
"As for the participation of the Armenian delegation at the Euronest Parliament Assembly held in Baku, I think that they joined it because realized that they would not be able to deceive European politicians with false claims.
Moreover, Armenia is a country with a weak economy. As it greatly needs help and assistance from Europe, it could not skip this political event.
This once again shows that Azerbaijan can hold and provide security to notorious events in accordance with international obligations. Our events held on intercivilizational and interreligious dialogue can be an example here."
