The Federal Police Department of Germany passed 50 facilities for detection of falsified documents to the Azerbaijani side as part of the bilateral cooperation with the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
The statement came from the news service for the German embassy to Azerbaijan.
A weekly training course was organized by officials of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan. Thus, the German side wishes to contribute to struggle aimed to reduce the number of cross-border crimes especially the number of facts of illegal migration.
Intensive business ties between the Federal Police Department of Germany and the State Border Service of Azerbaijan have existed since 2004. A number of projects for conduction of bilateral trainings and assistance for the purpose of compliance with international standards in work were implemented in the reporting period as part of annual programs of cooperation.
