The co-chairs of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (PA) have held a press conference in Baku at the end of the assembly's second session.
Kristian Vigenin, Euronest co-chair from the European Parliament, and Boris Tarasyuk, co-chair from the Eastern Partnership countries, both said that the assembly in Baku had been organized at a high level.
Vigenin said that Azerbaijan deserved thanks both for the technical arrangements and the right environment and conditions:
"This is the first session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly to have been held outside the European Union. The Baku session differed from the first session in that resolutions and reports were adopted. Unfortunately, no report or decision was adopted at the first session, but four reports and one resolution were adopted in Baku."
Vigenin said that Azerbaijan was developing rapidly.
Boris Tarasyuk commented that the decisions taken in Baku concerned human rights, democracy and other issues.
