Ministry of Emergency Situations issues statement on explosion in Mingachevir Hydroelectric Power Station
Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) issued a statement on the explosion in the Mingachevir hydroelectric power station.
An explosion of pitch boiler caused fire during the isolating works in one of the tunnels of 4th department. Isolation material in 10 square meter area was burnt. The rest of the area was protected by firemen. During the accident, Jabbarov Parviz Khasay, born in 1990, died at the site and Suleymanov Juma Yusif was hospitalized. The investigation is underway. The fire was extinguished at 12.00.
