One person has been killed and another badly injured in a blast at the Mingachevir hydroelectric power station in western Azerbaijan.
The explosion occurred when bitumen caught fire as workers were carrying out isolation work in a tunnel at the station.
Welder Parviz Jabbarov, 22, died at the scene.
Juma Suleymanov, 32, remains in a serious condition in hospital, suffering from severe burns.
Three more workers injured during the accident were sent home following medical treatment.
The fire was put out at around midday, the Emergencies Ministry said.
An investigation is continuing into the causes of the accident.
