Azerbaijani parliamentarians approves the members of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for the next term
Today Azerbaijani parliamentarians have approved the members of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan for the next term.
Ziyad Samedzadeh, head of the Parliamentary Economic Policy Committee, said that the Committee voted unanimously to endorse the existing members - Central Bank’s chairman Elman Rustamov his first deputy Alim Guliyev and his deputies Aftandil Babaev and Vadim Khubanov.
"These people have long represented the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. As a result of right monetary policy, on behalf of the President, Elman Rustamov, Alim Guliyev and Aftandil Babaev, there were taken all appropriate measures for a decent exit from the global financial crisis. As a result of the activities of these individuals, the country did not feel grave problems in times of the crisis," Samedzadeh said.
The MPs unanimously (the meeting was attended by 105 MPs) voted for candidatures of Elman Rustamov, Alim Guliyev ,Aftandil Babaev and Vadim Khubanov.
