Investigation has been carried out into the suicide of soldier of the military unit in Aghdam Amiraslanov Mehman Amiraslan on February 4, the persons responsible for it have been punished.
Defense Ministry’s press service told that under the order of Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev, commander of the military unit, Major Ahmadov Etibar Isabala has been dismissed for failing to fulfill his duty properly and for other shortcomings.
Disciplinary measures have been taken regarding chief of staff of the military unit, Lieutenant-Colonel Majidov Vugar Yadigar. Commander of the detachment, Senior Lieutenant Babayev Nihad Nizami has been dismissed.
He has faced criminal charges and has been arrested.
