An Armenian soldier is reported to have been killed by gunfire on 5 February near the contact line separating Armenian and Azerbaijani troops.
Marat Dimakasyan, 20, a conscript in the army of the self-declared Nagorno-Karabakh republic, received a fatal gunshot wound, on Sunday at 7:20 p.m., at a military position along the southeastern section of the contact line in the Hadrut area.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
