Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Ogtay Asadov signs order on Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020
Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Ogtay Asadov signed an order on the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games that will be held in 2020, APA reports. According to the order, the parliament strongly supports the participation of Azerbaijan and its capital Baku in the tender for hosting Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020. In accordance with the Constitution of Azerbaijan Republic, the parliament says it is ready to use all opportunities to host the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020.
