232 employees of the
Penitentiary Service were brought to administrative responsibility, 35
were dismissed, public affairs department of the Penitentiary Service
told.
It was said at the meeting at the Main Office that under the orders of the Justice Minister and chief of Penitentiary Service, chiefs of penitentiaries #2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 10, Correctional Facility, detention facilities #2, 3, district penitentiaries #2, 7, 8, 9, 12 were dismissed.
Chief of the Penitentiary Service Medet Guliyev underlined that the Penitentiary Service and the agencies subordinated to it fulfilled the tasks, positive results were achieved. Instructions were given to eliminate the shortcomings and irregularities, to improve the activity.
