Karabakh conflict most discussed in 2011- chairman of Milli Majlis
It is a great pity that the positive tendencies recorded in Karabakh conflict at the beginning of the year further failed.

The statement came from depity chairman of Milli Majlis Bahar Muradova.

She noted that in general the outgoing year was marked by the most intensive discussions on Karabakh conflict in all international organizations.

According to Muradova, though no positive result was attained in the conflict settlement, its occupation of such a large place on the world agenda is a progress.

"Different international organizations adopt different resolutions related to this problem facing Azerbaijan. Different parliaments of different countries adopt resolutions on Nagorno Karabakh especially Khojaly massacre. Different parties want this problem to be settled within the norms of international law and four resolutions passed by UN. If earlier we witnessed the parade of ‘Armenian genocide’ worldwide, today the tendency is just opposite", Muradova said.

The vice speaker considers that last year Azerbaijan took right effort to inform the world community about the Karabakh conflict and to attain adoption of due resolutions.
